ANTIMOB \u2013 s\/t LP (\u0395\u03be\u03c9\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03c2 \u03a0\u03b1\u03c1\u03bf\u03be\u03c5\u03c3\u03bc\u03cc\u03c2)
\nJumaliste! Johan sen kuuli demostakin, ett\u00e4 kreikkalainen Antimob on yksi t\u00e4m\u00e4n hetken parhaista yhtyeist\u00e4 ja t\u00e4m\u00e4 LP todistaa sen viimeist\u00e4\u00e4n kiistattomasti. Antimob ottaa vaikutteita pariltakin suunnalta, mutta hienovaraisesti, ja muokkaa niist\u00e4 omanlaistaan hardcorepunkkia. Omissa kirjoissani t\u00e4m\u00e4 levy on ehk\u00e4 jopa viime vuonna ilmestyneiden 12-tuumaisten k\u00e4rkiviisikossa (vaikka mm. Isterismo, Crazy Spirit, Cross Stitched Eyes, Maailmanloppu, No Statik, Stripmines, Bukkake Boys, Crosta ja Ilegal pyrkiv\u00e4t kaikki siihen my\u00f6s). Mieleen ei tule ainuttakaan toista t\u00e4m\u00e4n hetken b\u00e4ndi\u00e4, joka kuulostaisi Antimobilta. Pari kitarasooloa karsisin pois, tietenkin, mutta muuten t\u00e4ss\u00e4 on kaikki kohdillaan: hienoja riffej\u00e4 (eik\u00e4 mit\u00e4\u00e4n moneen kertaa kuultuja Dis-riffej\u00e4 todellakaan), hyv\u00e4t soundit, erinomainen laulaja. Piisej\u00e4 on vain kahdeksan eli pituuskin hardcorepunk-levyksi on passeli (mini-LP:ksi t\u00e4t\u00e4 ehk\u00e4 pit\u00e4isi kutsua?). Klassikko jo syntyess\u00e4\u00e4n. \nGoddammit! The demo had already proved that Antimob from Greece is one of the best bands at the moment and this LP indisputably certifies it. Antimob take influences from here and there but in a very delicate way, and creates out of these elements some very original hardcore punk. In my book this album is possibly even in top 5 of the last year\u2019s 12\u2033s (though also for example Isterismo, Crazy Spirit, Cross Stitched Eyes, Maailmanloppu, No Statik, Stripmines, Bukkake Boys, Crosta, and Ilegal are with the competition too). No other band of our days comes to my mind with a sound like Antimob\u2019s. I would delete a couple of guitar solos, naturally, but otherwise everything is as it is supposed to be: great riffs (which definitely are not some Dis riffs heard many times before), good production, an excellent singer. There are only eight songs so the length is just right for a hardcore punk record (this is possibly more a mini LP than a full length LP?). A classic already at its birth. \n\u201cI\u2019m out of words, that\u2019s how good this is. They are taking influences from here and there but yet manage to sound like no other band. It\u2019s so refreshing to hear a band like this. Top notch hardcore, there\u2019s no doubt about it. I\u2019m listening to this every fucking day.\u201d<\/p>\n
